Effective Drug and Alcohol Treatment

At The Treatment Center, a Florida rehab facility, we have helped thousands of people find freedom from addiction. As a nationally recognized rehab center, we are known for providing our patients with exemplary care.

Addiction studies have shown that in order for treatment to be effective all of patient’s  needs must be attended to. To make sure that all of our patients’ needs are met, we customize their treatment plans.

After a patient arrives at our drug and alcohol rehab, they are thoroughly assessed by our staff. The assessment is then used to create a treatment plan that is tailored to their specific needs. Patients can receive any combination of services and therapies in their treatment plan such as:

  • Safe drug and alcohol detox
  • Individual therapy
  • Group counseling
  • Christian-based treatment program
  • Relapse prevention
  • Dual diagnosis treatment
  • Introduction to 12-step programs
  • Holistic treatments
  • Family workshops
  • Inpatient and outpatient programs
  • 24-hour alumni support
  • Aftercare services

Our treatment plans prepare patients for their new journey. During treatment, they will learn how to recognize and avoid their triggers.

For additional information about our treatment plans, call us now at (321) 231-7681 or chat online. We’re available to answer your questions 24/7.

Drug and Alcohol Abuse Trends

According to the Department of Children and Families, over 9,000 Orange County residents sought treatment for drug and alcohol addiction. Some of the most commonly abused drugs in the Orlando area are:

  • Prescription drugs
  • Heroin
  • Alcohol
  • Marijuana

Although state officials and law enforcement have cracked down on pill mills, prescription drug abuse is still prevalent in the state. Orange county residents are still abusing opiates like Vicodin, and oxycodone, however, at a much lower rate.

Since prescription painkillers are not as accessible on the streets, many Orange County residents have turned to heroin. This, in turn, has caused heroin overdoes and heroin-related deaths to spike in the county. In 2013, over 35 people died from heroin overdoses in Orange county.

Alcohol continues to be one of the most abused substances in the Sunshine State. In 2012, there were over 16,000 admissions for alcohol abuse in Florida, according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA).

Although many Orlando residents think marijuana use is harmless, Floridians are becoming addicted to the drug. According to a 2012 SAMSHA report, there were more than 15,000 admissions at Florida rehabs for marijuana abuse.
