Drug Abuse in Marietta, GA

Although Marietta is a family-centered, suburban city, it’s not without its share of substance abuse issues. In a 2012 report by the National Survey on Drug Abuse, the rate of illicit drug use was monitored in a 5-year period from 2005 to 2010 and it found that 14.8 percent of persons 12 years or older abused illicit drugs. This was slightly above the national average at 14.7 percent.
