Chief Executive Officer
As the Chief Executive Officer and one of the founders of The Treatment Center, Bill is responsible for leading the operations and development of the facility. With over 30 years of experience in the health and addiction treatment field, he’s most passionate about providing high quality, compassionate and professional care to our patients. Bill’s proudest moments are witnessing the dramatic changes patients make from admission to discharge. His mission is to provide exceptional patient care, while making a positive impact on the community, and contributing to the overall success of The Treatment Center.
Bill has excelled in several leadership roles for numerous healthcare organizations, including hospitals, treatment centers and an extended-care treatment facility. Prior to founding The Treatment Center, Bill successfully ran Bill Russell Associates, a healthcare consulting company for non-profit and for-profit facilities. Prior to that, he was the chief restructuring officer at The Family Hospital in Sunrise, Florida. He also served as the chief operating officer and vice president for a South Florida-based treatment facility. As the director of outpatient services, Bill previously developed and operated a new treatment program for adolescents suffering from dual diagnosis disorder at Grant Center Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Bill obtained his Master of Arts in Human Services Administration and his Bachelor of Arts in Mental Health Administration from Antioch University.
