Michael Chernak

Michael Chernak is highly experienced in chemical dependency, dual diagnosis and psychiatric treatment center administration. He has served as the clinical director at multiple treatment centers during his 20-year career.

His other career highlights and qualifications include:

  • Established, directed and operated three separate, highly successful treatment centers over the course of his career.
  • Nationally accredited Master’s Addiction Counselor.
  • Received the CARP Commendation for Outstanding Accomplishment in the Care and Services for Chemically Dependent Persons (1990).
  • Received NRI’s Special Achievement in Service and Leadership Award (1992).
  •  Graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science.
  • Holds an Intensive Pedagogical Certification from the City University of New York, Graduate Division, Brooklyn College.
  • Earned a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the New School for Social Research.
  • Master’s of Professional Studies in Human Relations from New York Institute of Technology.
